Thousands of Filipinos just celebrated Earth Hour last night. Those flickering lights amidst stark darkness shows our solidarity with the rest of the world. It was a successful campaign to again, focus attention on global warming.
I would love to see that sea of humanity expressing its disgust over rampant graft and corruption in our society. I would love to see companies supporting the anti-corruption cause and marshalling the Youth against this social scourge.
If we can only do that, showing our truest and personal engagement with causes that matter, maybe we’ll be living in a better world, don’t you think?
