sitting on a dietWhen you feel like gorging out, there’s only one place in mind–The Spiral.

Spiral is Sofitel’s greatest attraction. You not only are being treated to great food–there’s entertainment as well. Cost–2,700 pesos.

Now, if you feel like it will cost you a hand and a leg, go try Dad’s. Yep. But I’ll cost you 600 pesos.

Dad’s has a variety of food choices, from Japanese to Filipino. People go there just to eat Japanese food. They have the best sashimi varieties around.

Now, if you’re saving some money, try Cabalen. For just under 400, you’ll get to sample Filipino, Thai and if you’re lucky, they put in a little sashimi or sushi or maki there (mostly California maki). Cabalen’s “Kare-Kare” is one of the best.

If you’re really saving up some money, go to Kamay Kainan. It will only cost you about 250 pesos. They have more than 40 dishes. And they have locally-made ice cream.

There’s another one–Yam Cha restaurant along Timog Avenue in Quezon City. For just 200 pesos, you’ll get to sample Chinese dishes. The food there is great. I just bumped into it last night. For  a pack of seven, it just put me back about 1,700. Heavenly.
