Senate releases ZTE-NBN deal report: calls for filing case against PGMA

Senator Richard Gordon has released the final Senate Blue ribbon report on the ZTE-NBN deal. Gordon has recommended the filing of graft charges against Philippine president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, her husband, First Gentleman Mike Arroyo and all actors who took part in the deal.

Among those accused of graft and corruption charges are former NEDA chief Romulo Neri, ZTE-NBN whistleblower Joey de Venecia III and Jun Lozada and DOTC secretary Leandro Mendoza and other DOTC officials.

It took the Senate thirteen hearings to come up with the recommendatory report on the deal.
