Aurora Sevilla--what happened to her?

Former beauty queen and film actress Aurora Sevilla was caught selling shabu to a drug addict in Kalentong Mandaluyong City.

The 46-year old actress who once dominated the local showbiz scene with her beauty and wit, was caught red-handed, according to a report by Senior Inspector Hubert Pascual of the Mandaluyong City Police.

Pascual said, they have been monitoring the movements of the former actress after they got information that Sevilla was selling illegal drugs in Mandaluyong. Sevilla was caught selling five grams of shabu and when receiving 1,000 pesos from Rodney Chudian.

Both Sevilla and Chudian were hauled to jail.

Sevilla was voted as 1984 Binibining Pilipinas winner. After her victory, she was lured into the showbiz life, starring in blockbuster roles, the most notable the Joe Pring story with Philip Salvador. She first starred in the film Okleng Tokleng (1986). 

Everyone knew her as a successful entrepreneur. Aurora is one of the most beautiful faces in local stardom. She was once the wealthiest actress around town, who owned thorough-bred race horses and a department store.

Misfortune befell her when she indulged in drugs.  Today, at 46, she is a single parent to Joshua, 12 and Ali, 7.

Now, she’s in jail for drug charges.
