Shalani Soledad, the beautiful girlfriend of Liberal Party presidential bet Noynoy Aquino, seems blooming today.

Kris Aquino, the outspoken sister of Noynoy, has publicly announced that the family accepts her already. And it is but fair that they do.

Soledad is reportedly a single mother, like Kris. Shalani reportedly did not finish her education and instead, worked early with the blessing of her uncle.

She won as First Councilor in Valenzuela and once a member of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) and defected to Lakas-Kampi CMD.  She was just sworn in as Liberal Party member, the same party of her boyfriend.

She was reportedly gunning for the seat of Magi Guinigundo but recent reports say, Shalani is just going for re-election as councilor. The 29-year old Councilor say she will accompany Noynoy in his provincial sorties.

Previously, reports say Kris Aquino hates the guts of Shalani Soledad. Probably because Kris does not know Shalani that well.

An entry over at Filipinonewsnetwork (http://filipinonewsnetwork.com) says that Shalani has a kid out of wedlock. And the supposed father is a Customs official by the name of Atty. Jimboy Cabochan. How true?

Questions about her academic and personal credentials hover over the net.

Some say Shalani is actually the daughter of a Saudi national. And that her surname is really not Soledad but the surname of her mother.

There were also insinuations that Shalani is being controlled by her uncle who also dabbles in politics especially in Valenzuela.

Now, with Shalani Soledad under the Liberal Party, what will happen now with her relationship with Valenzuela mayor Sherwin Gatchalian, a member of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) who financed her political career? Obviously, Shalani has to support whoever the Liberals field against Sherwin.

Talk about party loyalty, probably Shalani does not know such term.

Shalani, they say, will go wherever Noynoy goes. She will campaign hard for Noynoy, especially in Valenzuela.

The question really is—will Shalani also campaign other Liberal party bets in Valenzuela?
