Pinoy Observer is a student of history and social movements. He studied politics and History at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and graduated with a Masteral degree at the University of the Philippines. He also briefly took up law at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law.

He started his career in journalism soon after graduation in 1992 and continues on.PinoyObserver is a well-travelled intellectual. He also worked for a multinational company in Singapore and came back in the Philippines to assume his advocacy for social change.
