Jake Zyrus Calls Charice “Fake”

Jake Zyrus took social media by storm one again after the singer-turned transgender criticized her former self, calling Charice “fake person”.

Jake Zyrus has been taking testosterone shots as part of her transition to becoming a transgender man.

Formerly known as international singing sensation Charice Pempengco, he was once regarded of having vocal prowess and hitting high notes in his shows and performances.

Jake Zyrus disclosed in an interview with PEP.ph and other members of the press that she did not regret taking testosterone shots which have affected her particularly her voice.

“Hindi naman yun sa dahil ayaw mong bumirit, e. It’s about telling the people na malaman nilang hindi ako yun,” he said.

Zyrus noted that the Charice we know was not a real person, but a fake identity hiding inside the reasl Jake Zyrus.

“I feel vindicated, energetic, and extraordinarily strong. I know this is the real me.”, Zyrus said.

“Iba yung feeling kapag ikaw na talaga, sarili mo na talaga. Kasi before, sobrang hindi ko na gusto yung nakikita ko, naririnig ko,” he added.

“Masarap na alam mo sa sarili mo na ikaw ‘yan, alam mo sa sarili mo na wala kang tinatago,” he stressed.

For the first time, Jake Zyrus will perform as a trans man in his upcoming concert entitled “I Am Jake Zyrus” which will be held at the Music Museum this coming October 6.

Fans of Charice (not Jake Zyrus) lambasted the singer for criticising her old self. Other fans even calling her “ungrateful”.
