I’m reading your blogs lately. Let me just correct the information of you letter sender. Gabby didn’t leave Sharon. It was Sharon who left the conjugal home when she found out that Gabby was having an affair. Maybe the pain of unrequited love got hold of her.

About Kiko I also thought she knew that Kiko had a mistress and a child. Just about everyone in the political world were already talking about it for the longest time. It was like FPJ siring a 2 kids out of wedlock but the entertainment press didn’t write about it until FPJ died.

The girl daw. I said daw because I’m getting this from a friend who works somewhere up.. is pregnant again.

If this is true. I hope Sharon sticks with Kiko. after all the next guy that he’ll meet would do the same thing. Men are polygamous in nature. given the power and fame that kiko acquirerd because of the mega star. It’s easy to understand that he’s just enjoying fruits of it. You wouldn’t even take a second look at Kiko if he’s just an ordinary lawyer in town. Sharon’s fame made him all too interesting.
He should prove to sharon that he didn’t marry her because of his political aspirations.

It’s time for Sharon and Kiko to tell the public what is really happening between them and if all these news are indeed true.

“Long before the rumors became public, Sharon was already aware of Kiko and his love child with his former staff member from Bacolod (with roots in Dumaguete–the girl is very simple, decent and has no intentions of ever going public and confrontational about this; she is now studying to be a chef). And she made the decision to forgive him and stay with him in spite of it. It’s so easy for people to insist that Sharon leave Kiko. Having already failed at her FIRST marriage, it’s understandable that Sharon, no matter what happens, would want to make this one last. The fact that her high-profile first husband is back in the country has surely been a determining factor in her present decision to ignore the issue, hoping it will pass. Although the marriage is already a farce, she will stick it out with Kiko–Sharon is too proud, too driven, to admit she has failed again. However, I don’t think she’ll be giving any more live declarations of affection for him, as she did at her last concert. She may already have given him an ultimatum, which is to quit politics and stay out of the limelight, or else (if he really did marry her to boost his political ambitions, then this is one ultimatum Sharon should issue him!)! You must also bear in mind that Kiko is no Gabby, who was the one who literally abandoned mother and child (KC) before. Should there be a separation this time around, Kiko, who has been a doting, attentive dad, will want shared custody of his girls. Is Sharon prepared for that? She has proven herself resilient through the years, but would she want her sheltered girls, most especially the two younger, ones, exposed to the pain and confusion of being shuttled between their parents and their respective families? When she split with Gabby years ago, the press were a respectful bunch, and the couple’s issues, Sharon’s especially, were given the kid glove treatment. Today you don’t even have to be a journalist to dissect a person’s personal life. A simple blog will do the job, and the feeding frenzy starts from there.”

This, my friends, I think, is both a fact and an opinion by the reader. I’m not publishing it here to validate earlier rumours of Kiko’s alleged affair because based on this info, it was not an extra-marital affair. If this is true, Sharon Cuneta reportedly knew of Kiko’s love child and tolerated it.

So, the question really is–what’s the cause of Sharon and Kiko’s latest spat? If it’s not a third party, then what is?

KC Concepcion gave us a sampling of what would happen in the future. Asked what’s her reaction to the alleged spat between her mother and stepfather, she gave a cryptic answer: ” whatever they’ll decide among themselves, to separate or not, will be decided in the future.” I thought there’s nothing wrong?

Well, yep, there’s smoke alright. But, I doubt if there’s really something seriously wrong going on between the two. I mean, yes, they fight. Yes, they have disagreements. Any couple goes through a tough, trial phase. Who among us does’nt? A 12-year old relationship would definitely undergo rough waters in some way or another.

I mean, those nasty rumours about Kiko having kids and a mistress, reportedly a former legal staff of the Senator, should stop. Sharon has her own connections, right? Sharon has her own money. Would it take her millions for her to investigate her husband? Knowing Sharon, she’ll do that, spend every penny just to know the truth. When she and her Gabby were still on it, the minute Sharon learned of the gallivanting ways of the former matinee idol, did she keep silent about it? No. She bolted right straight away from their conjugal home. If Kiko really has a paramour, would Sharon condone that? I doubt it.

In all likelihood, what the mega couple should have done is admit at least that they had a spat. Sharon’s manager admitted that much. And it would not hurt if they, indeed, had a fight. Kiko is not the first Senator to have a spat with his wife.

Remember the “brief separation” of former Senator Tito Sotto and Helen Sotto? Helen went to the United States to “cool off”. What was the issue that nearly tore the Sotto family apart? It’s reportedly some woman. But, did it really lead to a separation between Tito and Helen? No. Why? Because both are mature enough to recognize that married life is not all roses everytime.  

What we can glean from all these talk about Kiko and Sharon are these facts:

1. Sharon admits that she was “burned out”. And it’s not from work. Quite possibly, there is really an issue which is tearing the two apart. But, is it about Kiko’s mistress or reports of Kiko having another woman? Based on information, that is not the issue. Is it about money? Possibly. Why? Is Kiko spending money while Sharon bear the financial burdens? Where’s their monies? Did they lose millions from investments? At least both should answer the cryptic answer of Sharon feeling “burned out”. 

2. I asked one of my entertainment friends and they surmise that, quite possibly, the mega couple has been affected by Gabby’s return. Hey, I know. I should not tread this path, but many people over at ABS know that Sharon’s still has some feelings about her “first love”, Gabby. In fact, Sharon exits the ABS building not in the same way as that of Gabby’s. I hate to believe it, but is Sharon still thinking about “first love never dies”, and wants to utter the words, “p.s. I love you”? If you ask me, twelve years is such a loong time not to recover from the hurt that Gabby did to the megastar. I don’t believe that Sharon still has the hots for Gabby. Besides, two kids with Kiko, not enough measure of love? And Gabby has sired so many kids outside of the marriage between him and Sharon and the megastar is not that foolish to fall for Gabs…again. But, who knows what’s in the hearts of men, says Socrates. Deep in my gut, this is not the issue.

Come to think of it, what’s soo serious about this thing? Nothing, to be frank. Kiko will still function as a Senator of the land. Kiko will never let a personal problem affect his job. Kiko is a professional. These intrigues will only endear Kiko to the public. Why?

Because deep in our hearts, we want the mega couple to stay as husband and wife. We only talk about this, and we are only concerned because, hey, everybody loves some measure of intrigues in our lives, yes? 

Yet, ultimately, it is concern that makes us notice this issue. Concern that that lovely wedding between the two lovebirds is slowly being torn by  money and political problems.

What I propose or even dare the two couple is this–Kiko should propose to Sharon again. Am I hearing wedding bells again? As an affirmation of their love for each other? Am I seeing this in the horizon? 

The answer is—yes.

If she’s just “shopping”, as what Senator Kiko Pangilinan told Senate reporters yesterday, then, why tag her daughters with her? It’s supposed to be the couple’s “quiet time alone”, remember, ha, Fanny Serrano? And why the rush for KC to be at the side of her mother in Hongkong? What, for KC to go shopping with her mother? Is Sharon shopping for another man in her life? I doubt it.

For Sharonians out there, don’t despair. I really don’t think that Sharon and Kiko would separate. In any relationship, disputes or LQ’s happen. Sharon and Kiko are two very normal individuals. If they are experiencing this now, it’s normal. Who among us has’nt experienced a domestic spat? I’ll like to meet one who’ll say that he or she has’nt even fought against his partner.

Fanny Serrano, a long-time friend of Sharon and Kiko denies that the two had a falling out. Fanny says its a regular practice of the couple to unwind in separate locations. Yeah, go figure. 

This news has reached the inner fringes of the political jungle and reports say that, this time, Sharon and Kiko are on the brink of separation. But, will they keep the separation public or private? 

There are malicious insinuations that Kiko is reportedly keeping a mistress, but PinoyObserver does not believe that. PinoyObserver has kept a close tab on Kiko, having been one of Kiko’s supporters during his stint as student leader in UP. Also, have friends who are very close to Kiko and they don’t think that Kiko would keep a long-time mistress, and why will he? Sharon is a very loving and loyal housewife. It would be unfair to the megastar if she encounters this thing the second time around (remember, Sharon separated from Gabby for the same reason).

Whatever the problem is, Kiko and Sharon should resolve it among themselves for the benefit of their kids. Just don’t think of the public. Think about your kids. If you’ll separate, then, do it quietly.

First, GMA 7 shows are fantasies. Second, there’s a perception that GMA 7 is allied with the administration. And third, admit it, people don’t like their stations manipulating their ratings just to show they’re at least putting up a fight.

Imagine your resident mermaid acting like a prima donna. I mean, yes, it’s lovely to see Marian Rivera fighting for her rights as a private person but hey, that controversial scene shows her during a shoot, and in broad public daylight. What’s so private about it? If you’re a celebrity, you are public property. You don’t own yourself especially if you’re out there shooting those fake,err, damn scenes.

By the way, I commend Sharon Cuneta for her role as a Caregiver in that Chito Rono film. I really hope that Sharon starts doing all these socially relevant films to aid in increasing enlightenment and awareness in all of us on what’s happening. Films are great tools for enlightenment. And Sharon is a very good thespian.

Let me give some kudos to ABS-CBN 2 TV Patrol. That new station ID is really commendable. Pempengco’s voice is something to be extra proud of to be heard. I mean, I got goose bumps just listening to her wonderful voice. Her song is just inspiring.

Meanwhile, talks are a-buzz that former MNLF Chairman Nur Misuari is being groomed to replace Gloria’s factotum at the ARMM Chairmanship. Misuari is going around Muslim communities trying to seek or court their favor.

While all of these are going on, Suluanons are militating against Governor Abdulsakur Tan, led by hundreds of farmers. There’s a food crisis in Jolo, and the governor is helpless about it. In all of Mindanao, Luzon and the Visayas, people are rising up due to the effects of the high food prices.

By the way, saw the trailer of Sharon Cuneta’s new movie, the caregiver. I think it’s a fantastic one. Kudos to direct Chito Rono and Sharon Cuneta for this movie! I know it’s a tearjecker and I hate movies that makes me cry. Nonetheless, I will go to the theater and see this obra maestra. Sharon says, this is reality. Yes, it is. I’ve been an OFW myself (not a caregiver, but a manager for a big firm) and people don’t really know the tremendous sacrifices one makes in order to survive in a foreign land.

This will revive the flagging Philippine movie industry. Oppss…almost forgot…the movie of Aga and Anne Curtis. Despite its story flaws, i still commend the film outfit who did this because it promotes the beauty of the Philippines. Anne Curtis is the sexiest Pinay girl alive.

It’s a good thing that Katrina Halili will now be in a stellar role over at GMA 7. Given the right opportunity and packaging, this girl will go places.

About Maxim, they featured Angel Locsin. Well, what’s new? They say she’s hot. Well, probably years ago. She’s not that hot anymore. After what she and her manager did at GMA 7, people suddenly lost all interest on her. Her show, Lobo, is not getting the ratings top management expect from it. Maybe its unbelievable? However, Locsin surely is a lobo in real life after that very controversial over the bakod move.

Heard Heart Evangelista went abroad to shoot her teleseries (or is it a movie?). Echo said that he still loves her. Well, Heart says she feels the same way. Don’t know about these guys. If Echo is really in love, he should go wherever she is right now and propose marriage. That would rid us of these two forlorn lovers.
